JEE Main 2019: Day 2 for the Paper I of JEE Main 2019 is also over. Students have given their feedback and unlike yesterday when Chemistry was termed as the easiest section, today it was Chemistry section that flummoxed students. JEE Main 2019 Exam Analysis Live Update @6:25 pm: Based on the reactions and feedback received by students, experts suggest that the cut off for JEE Main 2019 would be higher than than of last year. Given the nature of the sections being tough and moderately tough across various slots, experts feel that the overall cut off may rise to about 115 this year. While the overall paper was marked as moderately difficult, Chemistry was tough and mathematics was also lengthy. Physics paper students were able to attempt about 20 questions easily.
JEE Main 2019 Exam Analysis Live Update @6:05 pm: As against the previous slots of JEE Main 2019, the feedback for afternoon session seems to suggest that the Chemistry paper was the toughest. Questions from Radioactivitity topic were confusing and lengthy. Many students noted that some of the questions seemed very new. As for mathematics and physics, the response was moderately tough. JEE Main 2019 Exam Analysis Live Update @ 5:50 pm: Slot 2 for today is over. The first reactions for slot 2 have been by far the worst reactions received in the examination. Most of the students who appeared for JEE Main 2019 afternoon session on Jan. 10 complained of lengthy calculations. The responses are still being gathered. First reactions, however, suggest that the JEE Main 2019 paper was overall tough and lengthy.

Reports on certain questions from Hall Heroult process and general metallurgy in Chemistry leaving students confused have been received. JEE Main 2019 Exam Analysis Live Update @ 1:45 pm: JEE Main 2019 Slot 1 for January 10, 2019 is complete. The examination was conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Students recorded no significant difference. Physics section for today’s paper was touted a the toughest. As per the reviews, the general consensus is that chemistry was lengthy and relatively easier barring some questions. Mathematics was tough but expectantly so. JEE Main 2019 Exam Analysis Live Update @ 1:25 pm: More inputs have been received now on the difficulty level of the JEE Main 2019 Slot 1 for today’s paper. As per most of the students, the paper was well placed and ‘doable’. Some students reported questions from Electricity and Magnetism as tricky in Physics section. A group of responses is now suggesting Chemistry section was tough in today’s slot.
Experts who have been receiving feedback from students have given a tentative expected cut off or a number of questions that would be good and perhaps enough for students to qualify. This figure, however, is only an expected cut off and based purely on feedback and expertise of the examination over the years. This is tentative and subject to change.
JEE Main 2019 Exam Analysis Live Update @ 1:00 pm: Verdict for Slot 1 for today’s paper is out. Students interviews regarding the JEE Main 2019 examination today share that Physics section was moderately tougher than the remaining two. The mathematics section was noted as lengthy. Chemistry continued to be a comfortable section to handle. Overall, the paper was expected. Students suggested that they were able to attempt about 60 questions with ease. More updates soon.

Slot 1 for today, January 10, 2019 is over. Reactions of students who have appeared in the JEE Main 2019 examination today are coming out now and the first reactions peg the exam to be moderately tough and ‘as expected’. Most of the students had called Mathematics section tougher than the two yesterday. Experts too had suggested that based on the feedback, mathematics was toughest and Chemistry the easier of the three.
